Hi! I am Emma - a fully qualified and highly experienced teacher with over 23 years of experience in the classroom.   I acquired a BA (Hons) with QTS in August 2000 and a PGCert in Leadership and Management (Education) in 2017.   I have worked in various leadership roles, such as English Coordinator, SENCo, Key Stage 2 Leader, Acting Deputy Headteacher as well as teaching thousands of children with varying needs and abilities.

I have tutored privately for several years, supporting children with English, Maths, KS3 English, 11+ and ESL, from all over the world.  Teaching is my passion; I truly believe that all children have the right to succeed and be the best they can.

Using my wealth of knowledge, I can create bespoke lessons that build upon prior learning to fill gaps of knowledge and understanding, in a calm, safe and nurturing learning environment.  My lessons are fun, engaging and capture the imaginations of the students I teach.  This allows your child to progress, gain confidence and become more independent, therefore preparing them for the next stage of their education journey, and ultimately, the world of work.
